It is located in the center of Bijelo Polje and is dedicated to the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul. It was built at the end of the 12th century and represents a foundation (endowment) of the Hum prince Miroslav, the brother of Stefan Nemanja. For this church, Prince Miroslav commissioned the writing of the “Miroslav Gospel,” the most important monument of Slavic literacy.
