Archaeological collection
The archaeological collection of the Museum was established in the early 1960s, and its origin is linked to only eleven artifacts.

Numismatic collection
The numismatic collection of the Museum in Bijelo Polje was established at the time of the Museum’s founding. Most of the material was acquired through donations, and partly through archaeological research and purchases.

Traditional events

Bijelo Polje Art Spring
The art event “Bijelo Polje Art Spring” was established with the aim of improving, promoting, and unifying the work of painters from the Bijelo Polje area. It emerged as a continuation of the rich painting tradition started by the Lazović family in the 1770s, whose work brought artistic fame to Bijelo Polje throughout the former Yugoslavia.
International Art Meetings
The event was launched in 2019 as a continuation of the tradition of the former “Stari Most Art Meetings”. It is named after the renowned Lazović painting family and brings together domestic and international artists.
